So Called “Separatists” Attack The Ukrainians – Another 29 Incidents Reported
The situation in Ukraine, in the zone where the Counter-Terrorist Operation is being carried out, remains tense. So called “militia of the people’s republics” supported by the Russian Army carried out another 29 attacks on the Ukrainian positions.
29 shellings carried out by the so called “separatists” were reported between 6 PM and 12AM on Tuesday. Towns of Chermalik and Shchastya were attacked twice, with the use of grenade launchers and 82 mm calibre mortars. The rounds fell in the urbanized area, causing death of a single civilian, in front of his property.
At 6PM, yet another attack on the Ukrainian forces was reported near Avdiyivka. This time, Grad rocket launchers were used. Between 6.30 PM and 8 PM, 120 mm mortars and snipers were used to attack the Luhansk Heat and Power Generating Plant located in the city of Shchastya. The “militia”, using the same weaponry, banned by the Minsk memorandum, also attacked the Ukrainian forces near the following locations: Awdiyivka, Opytne, Leninskye, Pisky, Artemovo and Chermalik. The Artemovo incident also involved the tanks used by the separatists.
When it comes to the Luhansk area, the attacks were carried out with the use of mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns. The targets included thje cities of Shchastya and Krymskie. In both districts of the Eastern Ukraine 15 fly-pasts were made by the “separatists’” drones.
