The offer proposed by the PIT-RADWAR S.A. company includes mobile air-target detection and tracking radars of very short, short and medium ranges, radar artillery reconnaissance systems, passive radar systems, systems for automation and support of command of air defences, very short range anti-aircraft systems and IFF devices.
When it comes to development and deliveries of the individual sub-systems, PIT-RADWAR S.A. is constantly cooperating with foreign partners. The company realizes a number of development projects and initiatives which are funded with the assets provided by the state budget, as well as with the assets coming from the European Union. PIT-RADWAR S.A. actively participates in international defence initiatives and numerous European programmes. At the moment the company is involved in a project, aim of which is to create a prospective, complex anti-aircraft and anti-missile defence system for the Polish Army.
PIT-RADWAR S.A. is a successor of the achievements of the largest Polish companies which have been acting within the market of professional electronics. The company has been created as a fusion of the Industrial Telecommunications Institute (Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji, established back in 1934), Scientific and RADWAR Production Center for Professional Electronics (established back in 1950). Both subjects, starting from the 1950’s, have been working in the field of development and implementation of radar systems.
The company has been functioning under its current name since 30th June 2014 and it is a member of the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (Polish Armament Group) – a state driven concern which gathers together companies in the field of defence and security, creating and cumulating the potential of the Polish defence industry.
