Between 28th and 30th September 2017, “Bucharest Security Conference” was being held in Bucharest. The event was organized by the Romanian National School of Administration and Political Science of Bucharest. The conference involved, above all, a number of representatives of the Central-Eastern European states, including delegates sent from Poland.
The Polish defence industry has shown its presence at the conference by delegating the representatives of the Polish Armaments Group and Mesko S.A. companies.
A number of discussion panels was organized during the meeting, covering a variety of issues, including the situation on the NATO Eastern Flank, with a particular emphasis placed on the situational context applicable in case of the individual states. Moreover, the participants also discussed the cyber- and energy-security problems.
A separate panel covered the defence industry issues. The said portion of the event has seen involvement of the Romanian, American and Polish experts.
