Changes in the PGZ Management. Chwałek Dismissed

The Supervisory Board decided to dismiss the Management of the PGZ Group.

That means Sebastian Chwałek would no longer be acting in the capacity of the President of the Management Board.

Chwałek has been leading the PGZ Group since April 2021, earlier he has been the Deputy Minister of Defence responsible for technical modernization in the Polish Ministry of Defence led by Minister Mariusz Błaszczak, and Vice-President at the PGZ Group. He was also undersecretary and secretary of state at the Ministry of Interior and Administration when the Ministry was being headed by Mariusz Błaszczak.

The dismissed management board also included: Krzysztof Sola, Vice-President (since 2021, previously Vice-President at PGE Dystrybucja), along with board members, Jakub Roszkowski, and Marcin Wierzchowski.

The Supervisory Board appointed Tomasz Siemiątkowski to become the acting President for no more than 3 months. Soon, competitive processes would be announced, to select new board members and president.

On 12th February, five new members were appointed to the PGZ S.A.’s supervisory board: Jakub Goździkowski, Tomasz Kołodziej, Artur Kołosowski, Zbigniew Leciejewski, and Tomas Siemiątkowski. Defence24.pl had been reporting on the planned leadership changes earlier on.
