Ukrainian naval drones reportedly sunk the „Cesar Kunikov” Project 775 (NATO Codename Ropucha) landing ship.

Ukrainska Pravda is the media outlet that published a report on that matter. The information released has not been confirmed. However, the Project 775 vessels, built at the Bohaterów Westerplatte Stocznia Północna (Northern Shipyard) in Gdańsk, for the USSR Navy, during the Communist Poland era (Warsaw Pact), had already been targeted by drones (one vessel was damaged), and the Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

If the reports turn out to be true, this would be the second case in which a warship is sunk in the Black Sea, by unmanned systems. The first one was the Tarantul-class „Ivanovets” corvette.
