Pistols, Bulletproof Vests, Radars. PGZ’s Offer for Uniformed Services Showcased at Europoltech

Polish Armaments Group, during the Europoltech 2017 exhibition, has been presenting armament, personal protection and observation systems, as well as road traffic monitoring solutions, all destined to be used by the uniformed services.

The booth of the Polish Armaments Group at the Europoltech event includes products that are being manufactured by the Group’s companies. The FB Radom company presents armament that is being offered for or already used by the Uniformed Services. The new products include the wz. 96 Beryl SW rifle, which is dedicated to be used by the Prison Guards.

Moreover, MSBS modular firearms system is also being showcased, alongside a variety of Beryl and Mini-Beryl rifles. The Łucznik Radom Arms Factory also demonstrates the weaponry that shoots pistol rounds, including the Glauberyt SMGs, Walther P99 handguns, as well as the latest PR-15 semi-automatic pistol. Similarly as MSBS Carbine, the aforesaid products are destined to be used as a part of the Tytan ensemble. They may, however, also be acquired by other users.

Maskpol company which is also a part of the PGZ Group, has been showcasing its protective equipment, headgear and bulletproof vests, as well as headgear dedicated for the Police riot units. On-uniform vests allowing the user to utilize armour plating, and ballistic shields have also been presented. Beyond that, Maskpol has also been demonstrating its latest MP-6 gas masks, used by the Polish Armed Forces.

Within the framework of the PGZ booth, PCO S.A company has also been showcasing its products – optoelectronic equipment. This part of the PGZ’s stand includes DCM-1 Szafir and SCT-2 sights, integrated with the Beryl rifles, NPL-1T Agat thermal vision binoculars, and other products offered by PCO.

PCO has also been presenting a variety of night vision goggles and monoculars. The showcased equipment includes the MU-3M monocular, which has already been placed within the inventory of the Polish Army and Police. Miniaturized PNL-3M “ORLIK” aviation NVG system is the second solution presented during the Europoltech exhibition. The civil variety of the “Orlik” system has been recently certified by EASA, which paves the way for this system being offered to the commercial users. PNL-2AD/M goggles have also been showcased during the event.

PGZ booth also features equipment manufactured by the Zurad company, dedicated for the services that deal with road safety. The hardware exhibited includes a system for recording the breaches of the highway code, integrated with the Skoda Octavia vehicle, featuring a radar and two HD 720p cameras (front- and rear-looking). The system allows the user to record events and breaches of the highway code, including speeding.

Zurad has also been showcasing its Fotorapid CF speed camera, available in portable and stationary variants. The system may monitor at least 4 lanes simultaneously, including approaching and departing vehicles, also with both directions being observed at once. It is capable of measuring speeds ranging from 20 to 320 kilometers per hour. Fotorapid CF is resistant to jamming and difficult to detect. It may also be fitted with an IR camera and IR illuminating device.
