Polish Air Force Acquires Dummy Training Bombs For The Older Aircraft Types

The Armament Inspectorate has announced a tender, the aim of which is to acquire 3500 training bombs, required to conduct bombardment training by the crews of the Su-22 and TS-11 jets, and helicopters used by the Polish Armed Forces.

According to the terms of reference, each of the bombs shall be delivered with a universal explosive, tracer or other material [device] which may be used to mark the point of impact, or to track the trajectory of the bomb.

The whole order is going to be realized until 2019, in four stages. In 2016 500 bombs are to be delivered, with 1000 bombs per annum in the two subsequent years.

Unfortunately, the terms of reference remain secret. It will be provided only to the contractors invited to place their offers.
